Brief.

We were commissioned to create two pieces for Chachipen, a project exploring the historical roots and systemic nature of antigypsyism.

One was a short documentary on the struggle of Roma victims of National Socialism to gain recognition of –and compensation for– the persecution they endured, and how these injustices continue to shape lived experience today.

 

The second combined interviews with prominent Spanish Roma politicians Juan de Dios Ramírez Heredia and Ismael Cortes, who reflect on antigypsyism through personal testimony and political experience.
